Woodcock

The woodcock is a fast, small migratory bird, prized amongst game shots and offers challenging shooting due to their zig zagging flight path and speed of breaking cover.

We offer a small number of hunters each year the opportunity to encounter the illusive and wily woodcock amongst their winter haunts in the West of Scotland.

This can either be a small group of guns with their own dogs or with our own experienced gamekeeper and dog team.

Opportunities are limited each year and early booking is essential as we only offer a small percentage to maintain a healthy population of both migratory and indigenous birds.
